Books by Charles S. I would recommend it prebih a good introduction for anyone interested in learning about Buddhism, though I would caution them about the Western Buddhism and the Engaged Buddhism selections, and to realize that both are a deviation from what came before and influenced by Western beliefs and conceptions especially Batchelor’s godless Buddhism, despite the Pure Land traditions, putting one’s faith in the Buddha, etc.
