I love the way he struggles mejo all of the trials and tribulations a lower-middle class young adult male is going jo deal with, how he comes to some very harsh realizations about how to improve his life, and then finds himself making the same poor decisions. The book is punk rock. Not the greeting card kind, or the Harlequin paperback version, but the type who thinks, deep down, that things matter, that art can change lives.
