Matt rated it really liked it Jan 08, Indispensable to writers, critics, and scholars in many fields, A Dictionary of Narratology provides quick and reliable access to terms and concepts that are defined, illustrated, and cross-referenced. This revised edition contains additional entries and updates some existing ones.

No keywords specified fix it. This said, Prince’s long prose style precludes the work from functioning efficiently as a dictionary; long-winded entries with excessive parenthesis and an anal-retentive attention to complete and grammatical sentence structure mark the text as more appropriate as an encyclopedia or scholarly manual than as a pocket or desk reference.
