She’s super clean and organized and he’s a complete cluttered mess. I think animals add to a story and it was the case here. Unlike Dell, Jade gained a lot of maturity and became a better person over the course of the novel.

She sees him out with girls all over him. The story was a delightful one, ffee lacked some depth. They are both terrific characters.

Yet from the moment his big-city receptionist blew into his life 18 months ago, Dell finds he cannot stop thinking about her. When you read a small town romance, the supporting characters play important role in the story. Unfortunately, it wasn’t used that way, and the plot quickly took the path of too many of her other books. As someone raised in a doctor family and someone who’s known many, many doctor families, they ALWAYS raise you to be a doctor.


There is nothing wrong with making lists of your lists. But I had a little problem with Jade here. And to compensate for this we’re told that’s cause he’s a real man and he loves animals and is a good vet so it’s okay.

A heroine who is running from her past add in some Beans and a peanut and you have a sweet romance. It says he’s real enough so you better believe it.

Although both characters are introduced in the first book, Animal Attraction could easily be enjoyed as a standalone story. Parrots don’t really talk like that so it got exceptionally annoying with the parrot having conversations with them.

Second, I’m sure it comes with reading a plethora of books by the same author, but Jill definitely jjll a formula to her books, and the plots are becoming redundant and a little boring. Becoming good friends during her stay, the pair realize time is running out and neither wants to say goodbye. The only thing that does shatter it is the trauma, which is understandable.
