I believe actions speak louder than words in this case. Constance Sharper shows and proved what an amazing author she is ,a bright and rising star in the indie YA books scene. Overall, I quite liked the book and would be interested in reading the sequel. Many issues that were left in the air sort of speak are tied up nicely in Grounded, mostly the relationship between Avery and Mason. And the sentence in the blurb about “handling an arrogant harpie boy who gets under her skin”, made me think that Mason had this hot-cold, bad boy attitude going on.
They join forces with their other enemies to attempt to defeat Mikhail and hi In Grounded, Avery returns back to school, soon Mason leaves her to head back to his ex-fiance to figure some stuff out but not before his ex-fiance sends a man named Patrick to “protect” her.
But when a dreadfully attractive boy with an attitude shows up on her doorstep she is thrust into the world of Harpies. Avery knew she had a knack for attracting trouble, but even she is shocked when a six-foot-something harpie shows up on her doorstep. She’s dated before but it didn’t work out so well. I like the change of supernatural creatures, and harpies are definitely something that has not been written about, except maybe in the House of Night series by P.
Book Review – Airborne (Airborne Saga #1) by Constance Sharper
Things spiral out of control quickly. Sharper also managed to do something with the main characters that I have never experienced before. I honestly don’t even remember enough details to right the best review, and I put it down about a week ago.
May 15, Cindy eclecticfirefly rated it really liked it Shelves: Want to Read saving…. When Avery is first introduced to this new sharrper of her world that she never knew existed she immediately disregards it as bunk and refuses to accept it. It was really kind of degrading to the characters.

He tries to fix things even when he knew things weren’t going to be truly fixable. May 07, Julie Salinas rated it it was amazing. There is a little sharer of mystery here. I love the fact that sometimes she doesn’t need Mason in order to get herself out of trouble or save herself.
There were also a lot of errors, typos as well as referring to people by the wrong name which made things somewhat confusing at times.
